Reference for planning and picking settings. Names, value types, and defaults follow the source PDF. An em dash (—) indicates that the source leaves the default blank; “None” is retained where explicitly stated.
| Column name | Value type | Default value | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Allow Partial Master Units | True/False | True | When planning, allow or disallow partial master units to be allocated. A master unit is partial when its container count does not match the item’s “Standard Containers Per Master Unit” value. |
| Allow Partial Plans | True/False | False | When planning, allow or disallow plans to be picked before the associated demands are fully allocated. If disallowed, available partial inventory is still allocated, but the plan is not released or available to pick until the full balance is allocated. |
| Allow Splits | True/False | True | When picking, allow or disallow containers to be automatically split to exact demand quantities. |
| Always Check All Pickable Zones | True/False | False | When planning, inventory is normally checked one zone at a time. With two zones, the second is checked only if insufficient inventory is found in the first, reducing data source calls. If enabled, every configured zone is always checked. This is mainly enabled when FIFO or FEFO must be guaranteed across the plant. |
| Always Pick To New Master Unit | True/False | False | When picking, if enabled, a new master unit is built and the picked container added to it for every step picked. |
| Always Print Container Label | True/False | False | When picking, if enabled, a container label is always printed for the picked container. When disabled, container labels print only when a split occurs. |
| Build Master Unit | True/False | False | When picking, adds a Master Unit field, allowing users to create a new master unit or add to an existing master unit as they pick. |
| Configuration Name | String | — | Display name for the selected configuration. Shown in page filters and the “Source” column on the Pick Demand screen. |
| Days Back | Number | 30 | Number of days in the past to check for demands. For example, for source type Shippers and a value of 30, considers Shippers with a Ship Date between 30 days in the past and today plus the Schedule Window value. |
| Destination Location | Dropdown | — | Location where picked inventory should be staged. Inventory automatically moves there when picking, preventing it from being picked within another plan. |
| Display Balance Quantity | True/False | False | When picking, displays an additional field showing the quantity remaining to be picked for the demand. |
| Display Deliver To | True/False | False | When picking, gives the user an additional option to deliver inventory to a final destination location after the pick steps have been performed. |
| Display Item Name | True/False | False | When picking, displays an additional field showing the item name for the current step. |
| Display Master Unit Type | True/False | False | When picking, displays an additional field showing the master unit type for the master unit allocated for the step. |
| Display Pick Demand Quantity | True/False | True | When picking, displays an additional field showing the quantity for the demand to which the current step belongs. |
| Display Shipping Summary | True/False | False | When starting a Customer Shipment pick, displays an initial screen with shipper information and allows the user to set a Trailer No value. |
| Due Date Offset | Number | False | Number of hours a pick plan should be due before the demand is due. For a shipper due at 2 PM with an offset of 2, the Pick Plan is due at noon that day. The source lists “False” as the default; see Source notes. |
| Force Order By Lot | True/False | False | When picking, forces the user to pick in order if the allocated inventory has a lot assigned. |
| Group Demands By ERP Key | True/False | False | When planning, combines all demands belonging to the same source (for example, Job or Shipper) into the same plan if possible. When disabled, each demand (for example, Job BOM or Shipper Line) receives its own plan. |
| Pick By UPC | True/False | False | When picking, if the item for the step has a UPC configured, displays Location and UPC fields instead of the Serial No field. |
| Prefer Standard Pack | True/False | False | When planning, allocates containers whose quantity matches the item’s standard pack value before other inventory. |
| Print Container Label | True/False | True | When picking, prints a container label for cases such as splits. |
| Schedule Window | Number | 0 | Number of hours in the future to check for demands. The source’s Shippers example says “72 days” but describes the upper bound as today + 72 hours. Saturdays and Sundays are skipped: if today is Friday and the value is 24 hours, the window extends through Monday. See Source notes. |
| Separate Plans By Building | True/False | False | When planning, separates pick plans if inventory spans multiple buildings. |
| Separate Plans By Zone | True/False | True | When planning, separates pick plans if inventory spans multiple zones. |
| Sort Order | Number | None | When generating demands, determines which configuration is checked first when multiple picking configurations exist for the same source. For example, “Customer Shipping - Ship To” with value 10 is checked before “Customer Shipping All” with value 20. If the Shipper does not match the customers in the first configuration, it falls back to the second. |
| Status Email | String | None | Comma-delimited list of email addresses that should receive picking status and alert emails. |
