Move selected lines from an existing pick plan to a separate pick plan and assign the new plan to the appropriate resource group in the Cella web application.

Audience: All Cella customers using the Cella web Pick Plans workflow.

When to use: Use this procedure when selected lines should be handled on a separate plan. The recording demonstrates moving one complete line; it does not demonstrate splitting a line into a smaller quantity.

Before you begin

• Sign in to your Cella web environment with access to Directed Picking → Pick Plans.
• Identify the pick plan and the lines you want to split.
• Determine the resource group that should handle the new plan.
• Use your own plan, part, serial, quantity, and resource-group values. The values and screenshots below illustrate the recorded example, not required customer settings.

1. Open Pick Plans

In the left navigation, expand Directed Picking and select Pick Plans (1 in the image below).

Use the search filters as needed, then click Search to load the plans.

Locate the plan you want to split. Review its Resource Group, Demand Source, Detail, Part No, and Quantity to confirm you have the correct plan.

2. Open the plan details

Click the small list icon in the Pick Plan column for the relevant row (2). The plan-details dialog opens.

The recorded example opens Pick Plan 45161, assigned to Warehouse, for Interplant Shipment 00067 from Warehouse to Production.

3. Select the line to split

In the dialog, review the Location, Part No, Serial No, and Quantity to identify the correct line. Check its box in the Split column (3).
